Family Holiday Production

Robin Hood - December 2010

When is a wrong deed the right thing?

Who was Robin Hood? Through more than 600 years he's been variously portrayed as a merry rogue, a fallen nobleman, a petty thief, a romantic forest dweller, a sociopath with no real concern for anyone but himself and his followers, a politically correct reformer, a hero of the people, and more.

Whoever he was - if he ever was at all - his spirit lives on in the imagination of every age where a privileged few exploit the disadvantaged many.

We're very pleased to present this new version of the Robin Hood legend - created especially for Playmakers! Theatre School. Performances are scheduled for mid-December (exact dates t.b.a.).

All actors aged 11-16 who audition successfully for the Young Actors' Guild Journeyman or Master Class levels will be cast in this production.

See you in Sherwood!
